When the settings are “Auto“ are “on“, either the 850nm or 940nm lights must be selected.   When "far"is selected, the camera wil use the 850nm lighting. This setting provides a strong light if needed, but it can be seen by most animals and may cause them to react to the cameras presence.   If "near" is selectd, the 940nm lights are used.  They are usually not visible to animals.  This is the prefered setting. Use back arrow  to return to settings menu.
